Remote Car Starters and other after market installations DO NOT void your vehicles manufacturers warranty

Some customers are concerned that remote car starters and other after market installations may void their vehicles warranty which is false. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act is a federal statute that governs warranties on consumer products, it is remedial in nature and is intended to protect consumers from deceptive warranty practices. If told by your manufacturer that a third party product would void the warranty, ask them for documentation to this claim. To void your warranty your manufacturer would have to prove to the Federal Trade Commission that a third party installation would cause a malfunction to your vehicle.
