Jeep Renegade Rocks New Sound System

Beginning of a classic audio design/build in a 2017 Jeep Renegade. Six new coaxial speakers in the OEM locations will provide clear, crisp, and detailed sound when finished.

To extend my client’s budget we utilized the OEM infotainment radio. This is becoming an industry standard as modern cars already have smartphone capabilities like CarPlay, USB, and Bluetooth built in.

Hidden under a front seat is a Sony 6-channel amplifier easily capable of powering the entire system. The Sony XM-GS6DSP fit perfectly under the driver’s seat. Running the 4G OFC wire was extremely enjoyable since this vehicle has sectional carpet. An unused threaded body in the driver kick panel made for the perfect ground location.

In the rear of the vehicle is a Kicker 12” down fire subwoofer which allows BIG bass without sacrificing cargo capacity.
Like all Blossom Installations sound systems, this system will have clear, detailed, and accurate audio playback of everything from Elton John to Dr. Dre to System of a Down and all you have to to do is turn the volume up and smile!
