The Corolla GT-S was one of the original sport compact tuners. \u00a0This owner owned one of these when he was younger. \u00a0Then life came and the car had to go. \u00a0Now older he is able to enjoy this great car once again.<\/p>\n

However any car with 26 years of age needs some work. \u00a0To get this car up and running Phil at Pocono Autowerks turned the wrenches and now this car drives like new. \u00a0Then we turned to the stereo system. \u00a0This car had seen some sound systems over the years and was in need of an electrical clean up. \u00a0Phil recommended Thomas Shafer of Blossom Installations for the job. \u00a0The first step was to remove all the old wiring from the vehicle that had been added over the years. \u00a0Removal of most of the interior was required for this part. \u00a0I also noticed the antenna was very worn and aging badly so I went ahead and installed a new one. \u00a0With the car back to original condition it was time to start the stereo installation. \u00a0The client wanted all the speakers to be in the original locations. \u00a0That meant installing four new 4″ coaxial speakers in the dash and rear deck lid. \u00a0A new Panasonic MP3\/CD receiver was installed in the factory location \u00a0to round out the OEM look. \u00a0With the new sound system installed all that was left was to reinstall the interior. \u00a0The car was then off to get detailed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
