The Corolla GT-S was one of the original sport compact tuners.  This owner owned one of these when he was younger.  Then life came and the car had to go.  Now older he is able to enjoy this great car once again.

However any car with 26 years of age needs some work.  To get this car up and running Phil at Pocono Autowerks turned the wrenches and now this car drives like new.  Then we turned to the stereo system.  This car had seen some sound systems over the years and was in need of an electrical clean up.  Phil recommended Thomas Shafer of Blossom Installations for the job.  The first step was to remove all the old wiring from the vehicle that had been added over the years.  Removal of most of the interior was required for this part.  I also noticed the antenna was very worn and aging badly so I went ahead and installed a new one.  With the car back to original condition it was time to start the stereo installation.  The client wanted all the speakers to be in the original locations.  That meant installing four new 4″ coaxial speakers in the dash and rear deck lid.  A new Panasonic MP3/CD receiver was installed in the factory location  to round out the OEM look.  With the new sound system installed all that was left was to reinstall the interior.  The car was then off to get detailed.
